Privacy notice
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Conversations with Brando is operated by Brandon “Brando” Oxley in the Philippines. This notice explains how information is handled when you browse this website, use its practice tools, or contact Brando.
Browsing the website
You can read lessons and discussions without a visitor account, and the public website does not take payments. Cloudflare delivers and protects the website and its media. In doing so, it may process technical information such as IP addresses, requested pages, browser information, and security logs to operate the service and prevent abuse.
The website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and page performance. Cloudflare describes this analytics service as cookie-free and says it does not use cookies or local storage for analytics or track individual visitors across sites. This does not mean that hosting and security services process no technical information.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your browser contacts Google to download them, which can disclose technical request information, including your IP address and browser details. Some lesson images may load from the credited external source if a locally stored copy is unavailable.

Microphone and voice practice
Shadow Brando asks for microphone permission only when you choose to record your own voice. Your practice recording is created and played back in your browser. The current public practice tool does not upload it to Brando or send it for transcription or AI assessment.
You can use the readings and listen to Brando without enabling your microphone. Closing or reloading the page discards the temporary practice clip; it is not saved as homework. Brando’s published teaching recordings are separate from your own practice clips.
Email and lesson enquiries
If you email Brando, your email address, name if supplied, message, and any attachments are handled through Gmail to answer your enquiry and discuss the lessons or teaching support you request. Gmail is provided by Google; see Google’s privacy policy. Please send only information relevant to your enquiry; sensitive personal information is not needed to ask about lessons.
Enquiry messages are kept for as long as needed to respond, manage any ongoing teaching relationship, resolve disputes, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Provider logs and backups have their own retention arrangements. Contact Brando if you would like to ask what information is held or request deletion.
Cookies, service providers, and links
The current public site does not include advertising trackers or a newsletter signup. Cloudflare security or owner sign-in services may use essential cookies where needed. Private owner publishing tools are separate from public lesson browsing.
Cloudflare, Google Fonts, Gmail, and external image providers process information needed for their services under their own privacy terms. Their infrastructure may process information outside your country, including outside the Philippines. Links to source articles and other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices.
Your choices and contact
You can browse without contacting Brando, decline microphone access, and manage site permissions and cookies in your browser. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access or correct your personal information, request deletion, object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on it, or complain to a privacy regulator. Some information may need to be retained for legal obligations or legitimate ongoing matters.
For privacy questions or requests, contact Brandon Oxley at conversationswithbrando@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify the enquiry concerned, but do not send identity documents unless a necessary verification method has been agreed. You may also contact the Philippine National Privacy Commission.
These resources are intended for adult learners and teachers. If you believe a child has sent personal information through an enquiry, please contact Brando.
This notice will be updated if the website’s practices change. The date above identifies the current version.
